kalk reactor Q

Ok I made a kalk reactor with a small pump to keep it stired up. now where do I get a timer to turn it on for 5min every 4 hrs or so. light timers go down to what 30 min min? maybe 2 to 4 cycles or is that what everyone is using? thanks

I have i think 8 cycles for 2 minutes each in 24 hrs on a digital timer i picked up at Home Depot.

I was letting it sit for 8 hours for awhile (mid day) but that turned the kalk into a brick pretty quickly. When you mix, a minute or two is enough, and 15 or 30 is way to long, you will just put a slurry into your tank.

Also use a check valve to break siphon from taking kalk water back into your pure h2o bucket if the reactor is above the h2o container.

If i recall the timer was like 30 bucks, if i also recall... i could not find another one the last time i looked, but it was bought at the hd on wilson mills.
