kalk use with the osmolator

I was wondering if I can use the osmolator with kalk instead of just ro for my topoff water??? If not is there any other way to use it to dispense kalk without damaging the unit?

The pump life will be shortened by kalk and it voids the warranty on the pump. You can use it for kalk but expect to replace the pump every year and be sure the pump doesn't sit in kalk powder. You can add kalk without hurting the pump, by using our dispenser 5074 or any other commercial kalk reactor.

The pump from the osmolator simply pumps the water through, there are several people using the Geo and PM reactors for this, you can search this forum and others for more info.

I've been using Tunze Osmolator with saturated limewater 12 years now. I think I have replaced the pump three times during this time.

Sounds good. If the pump isn't that expensive why not!!!!
