Kalk vs 2-part for killing

I know many of you use kalk for killing aptasia and the such. I dont use kalk for dosing, but I have 2-part from BRS. Can I mix some of this together to create a "kalk" killing solution?

i bought some peppermint shrimp. when they arrived they did not get feed for 2 days. they ate all the apastia. If you have some that are food trained its a different story. best of luck because i dont know about the leathal injection rate of success. went the natural way. oh and pepperment shrimp do more than just eat apastia. :dance:

You cant mix the two; the calcium chloride might give the a nasty burn if you inject them with that part. Try finding pickling lime, or give vinegar a try. I too have pretty good luck with peps, but they seem a bit like the rat catcher always sure to leave a few around so to not work themselves out of a job.

I am actually blasting palys that have wandered. Aptasia X has worked ok in the past. Just didnt have any of that left. Maybe try pickling lime.

I use 2 part and it's worked for me every time...come to think of it, I have 2 aptasia in there now that are calling for a dose of it!

I use a kalk slurry and one of those syringe that are in most test kits and pump a drop right in the middle of them..Very easy to use and kills them dead..
