Yes, about 2 level teaspoons will saturate the fresh water and no more will dissolve.

Is the Mrs. Wages lime just as good as the Mississippi lime they are selling on that web site twopartsolution.com?

They are both adequate. I have not seen detailed specs on the Mrs. Wages to be able to say which is better. They might actually be the same product.

FWIW, I have been using food grade Mississippi quicklime for many years.

If I found a dealer in my area for the Mississippi line. would they sell to me or do you have to be a dealer or something.

That would depend on the dealer I guess )

Supermarkets use to sell the stuff everywhere but often do not carry Ms. Wages anymore due to the danger associated with the product, so who knows what rules are.

They recently changed their product names. You'd want a food grade (FCC grade) lime (calcium hydroxide) or quicklime (calcium oxide).
