Kalkwasser/calcium reactor

Does the use of a calcium reactor negate the need for dosing Kalkwasser??? Isnt a calk reactor achieving the same goal. Dumb question had to ask............ If so which method nets better results?

I use both a Calcium reator and a Kalk reactor.

The Ca reactor maintains Ca and alk while the Kalk maintains the Ph.

I can only afford the calcium reactor at this time. What can I do to maintain correct PH levels with out dosing Kalkwasser is there any alternate method?

Running a refugium on a reverse light cycle would help with the ph swings if you were to go with the Ca reactor. Or you could simply drip the kalk from a container instead of a reactor.

I use both of them. They maintains very stable Calcium, Kalk and PH in my tank.
