Sad news -- I lost my Kaudern's Cardinal from the order below. It has been in QT since it arrived -- ate, looked and acted normally until my wife reported him laying sideways on the bottom and "getting up occasionally" this afternoon. By the time I returned from work, it was dead. I can't determine the cause of death, which is personally frustrating.
Tank parameters at the time of death:
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 5ppm
Ph - 8.0
Salinity -- 44us (up from ~40.5 at time of arrival)

I acclimated it into a pre-cycled individual QT tank, matching the salinity (~40.5) and Ph (7.8) to bag parameters read immedately after opening.
The QT tank underwent a 90% WC 24 hours prior to arrival, and a 20% to salinity, ph and temperature matched water every 3 days thereafter.
Acclimation was using the 'Floating' method described on your website, except I used a colander instead of net to do the transfer.
