Don't mind the people in the back... my mom is on the phone, and my dad is talking to my cat (go figure).

No, the hair algae is actually calming down... it was worse before...
I'm about 5 months into the project. I also just have gotten 2 algae blennies that are eating it away.

Yes, the Emperor is my favorite fish of all... He's is getting along with the other fish pretty well... no nipping at any corals either :)

Well, like I said before, I got 2 algae blennies that are eating it like crazy... My angel is also eating a considerable amount unexpectedly. Should be gone within the next two weeks I would imagine. The algae (lawnmower) blennies were recommended on this forum so that was a plus.

very nice, I love angels, but I've heard a lot about them starting to nip corals after a few months keep an eye on him, but so far good job and GL!

I'm just wondering how a highschool kid can afford a better setup then mine!!!! lol.

I know how you feel. there are several high schoolers and even jr. high students here in rc that have very nice tanks. but then again my 8 year old daughter wants to set up her own tank soon.

Thanks guys... I've saved some money over time... I split everything with my dad, even though it's really a "family" thing. My brothers are lucky enough to have it in the house and not have to pay for it :)... every penny is/was well worth it though.

Well I dont have a fourth period (last period) so I get out 1-1/2 hrs early everyday... I guess it finally paid off taking extra history and science classes :)

and thanks captainobvious (great name, my brother always used to say that, "well thanks captain obivous and Mr. DUH")

I'm thinking about getting rid of the damsel... he seems to be causing problems... its too bad... i've had him for about 3 years...
