This one was doing bad in my main tank because we didnt have RO water at the time... so I put it in the QT with nice clean RO water and it looks much much healthier

I'lll have to get a picture of my my sweet new purple psuedochromis later... He's a hider right now.

New corals on the way! Just bought a Zoa pack from the bay of e.. decent deal... 5 different zoa frags...

I also got............... A FLAME ANGEL!!! :)

just finished 6 hrs of aquascapinng.. i will post pics when the tank clears up... PLEASE leave me your honest oppinion of whether you like the new aquascape or the old one....

I was going for more of a dimensional view whereas the last aquascape was sort of just some flat rocks stacked up, not letting you see the fish too often...

The new aquascape gives me more places to put corals and frags, and as a nice open view... I like being able to see alot of the nice clean/bright sand.

Okay, so I have to say it looks better in person because you can see the dimension of the rock better... tell me what you think...

Needs more rock, going higher up mainly. The back is empty looking, you see a huge black wall with 4 powerheads. Id try to cover as much of the overflows as possible. Just looks like you need a little more rock. Doesnt look bad though. JMO.

Yeah, I see what you mean... I'm gonna be drying about 100-200 lbs of live rock, so maybe i'll use some of that

I got a humongous frag pack on the way... and I mean humongous... got the hook ups from the local club... Gonna take Jflip's advice and try to get some rocks in before hand.

Here's what I got today... Was afraid it was going to die during shipment but ended up real good :)

Heres a picture of the flash.. basically just to show the structure.. doesnt show the color... the next pictures will

Its funny.. whatever i put in the tank the peppermint run up to it and clean the heck out of it... you should be able to see the peppermint shrimp on the right of the carpet anemone

I would add a rock and a ledge on the far left side to made it more 3D and create another "underpass" for the fish. Also, have you tried putting the powerheads lower down so they are less noticeable? If the sand is an issue, lower down and pointed slightly up would probably help. I think its good to keep it low and not build it up to much. Once the corals grown in no one is going to notice the overflows anyways.

Nice though, good start.
