Kdoc's 210g Reef Tank

Yer, I don't know what killed it either... One day it was fine, next day it was all curled up, so it put him back out flat on the sand and hid him from everything else in the tank, day after that he had broken up in to a million pieces, it was like all his scales turned in to little chunks and just fell apart... I'll probably pick up another one soon though :)...

Linkia always look so awesome! What colour you going? Still blue?

Yup still blue.. The blue just stands out so much to me.

I'm thinking about swapping out all those tangs I pictured before and replacing them with:

1-Chevron Tang
1-Scopas Tang
1-Yellow Tang.

Best of luck with your fish choices. I hope you do well.

thanks Insane. I'm gonna need some luck on this one. I honestly haven't had such great luck in this hobby, so I'm trying my best.

Well I just bit the bullet and bought the Chevron tang from Saltwaterfish.com

I asked them to send me the largest chevron they have (whereas it is listed as 1-2"). I just didnt wanna miss out on another chevron. They only had 2 left in stock before I bought it.

I also just went ahead and bought the other order with the other tangs (and other goodies I've got coming too )

I figured that I'd be better off if they were shipped on the same day.

With the money I'm spending (while just spending a crap load on college books), I'm hoping this will all work out

Fish are coming tomorrow!
Kinda annoying because the packages are coming at different times. One by 10:30, the other by 3:00.

Unfortunately I couldn't catch the Atlantic Blue tang. But I think it will be fine, whereas if he were in his own strawberry basket, I wouldn't know how he would react to the new fish in their strawberry baskets.

I'll try to (remember) take as many pics as possible!
Wish me luck! (I sure can use it)
(P.S. I completely forgot to buy the linkia starfish, but its alright, I'm sure i'll be making another purchase by the end of the year)

Alright well I ran into a huge problem this morning.

My stupid Digital Aquatics ATO when nuts and pumped all the ATO water into the tank, causing my pH to get to 9.5!!!

Now it's back at around 8.85, and all the fish are in the tank.
This has been a hell of a morning.

The yellow tang is a giant! He's prob about 6".. I ordered 3-4" but its probably better that he's bigger.

My atlantic blue tank is trying to bully the yellow around, but the yellow just isnt taking any crap. It doesnt look like they're fighting so much. I think the atlantic blue needs to get used to them

As far as the Scopas tang, I have yet to find him in the tank. He's hiding somewhere.

The chevron tang unfortunately is minuscule. Probably about 1-1.5". I was hoping for around 3" which is kind of a pain. I have yet to find him too.

The bluespotted jawfish looks great. Hiding near a rock in the middle of the tank, trying to stay away from the Diamond watchman goby

The diamond watchman goby looks awesome. Nice, big, and fat. Hasnt sifted anything, and is just chilling in one spot in the front of the tank.

The chromis look great. I LOVE the chromis from reefhotspot. They have an awesome neon light blue glow to them. The only thing I'm kinda mad about is that I have one chromis that is realllllly ugly and more greenish than blue. I wanna get that guy out of there, but I doubt that's possible.

As far as pics. I took some but I am too hectic to post them yet. I'll take more/better ones when I get more free time. I have family coming over for the weekend and have 23423423 things to do.

Wish me luck that my tangs get along!!

haha alright let me see what I can do about pics.

Thanks! Looking forward to them.

Ok well the tangs seem t betting along great.

The Yellow Tang (largest one) seems to be the very peaceful one, not bothering anyone, or fighting back to anything. Because of that, I think the Atlantic Blue Tang has given up harrassing the Yellow Tang. The Scopas Tang has finally been coming out, but the Atlantic Blue Tang is scaring him back in his "cave" a bit. Nothing serious though. I think they'll get along sooner than later.

And now for some picture (they're not great, I'm sorry lol)

First pic is of the problem I ran into in the morning. My ATO went nuts and poured all the limewater into the tank. This isnt even as NEARLY as cloudy as it was at first.. I couldnt see one thing in the tank. It freaked me out big time.

Pink Tipped Haitian Anemone.
I LOVE this anemone, but my clowns are biting off the tips of it I guess because it's near their RBTA. I wedged the grabbers between the two to help it from getting near their RBTA
