Keeping 2 shrimp in a separated 10G tank

Well, I'd like to get 2 mantis, but I'm changing apartments in a year and would like to cut down on the number of tanks. Would it be possible to keep 2 smaller species in a 10 gallon tank that is divided with a clear divider, or would they break through and fight?

With the smaller species it is no problem. I have many tanks divided with clear Acrylglas. The smaller species cannot break Acrylglas.

well, the idea would be to use pet store dividers that come as a kit. Teh reason I asked about them was that they were rather thin (~1mm), which would be peanuts to really any smasher who really wanted to get through. I could just go with plexiglass though. That might work better anyway, I was just wanting to get opinions on the premade divider first.

i would think the stress of seeing eachother 24/7 and not being able to do anything good or bad with the other ...and being in only 5 gallon section, would cause undo stress of both mantis's?

My dividers are all 3mm and there is no problem, but you must drill some holes in it for better water circulation.
With 1mm dividers the mantis can break though these holes.
