keeping a goniopora happy

what are some suggestions you guys can offer for keeping one happy? i thought my system would do well with one, but it's been retracting more and more over the last month or so.

i've had it (the coral, not the tank) for about 2 months. first month or so, great PE, everything happy. after that i noticed that the polyps would stay extended for shorter and shorter periods of time, now down to a few hours a day.

params right now are:

1.027
temp 78.9-79.9
pH - 8.0
Ca - 480
Alk - 9.5 dKh
NH4 - 0
NO2 - 0
NO3 - ~8 ppm

it's sitting on the sand in a 90g system. i've got two vortech mp40s for flow, 150g total wv, a calcium reactor, charcoal, a fuge with a 4" dsb, lr rubble and chaeto. all other corals (sps, lps and softies) are exhibiting good growth and coloration.

i have about 8 fish, feed daily. i use coral frenzy once a week, and soak the fish food in selcon ~3 times a week (garlic the other times).

i've been reading that gonioporas need more iron/manganese, so i've ordered a kit and an additive. i'll see what the numbers look like and go from there.
