Keeping multiple angels in my reef

Hi all! I have been playing with the idea of adding a 3rd angel to my tank. I currently house 2, an emperor angel about 6inches and regal angel about 5inches. Both are thriving in my sps reef tank. Other tank mates are large sailfin, naso tang, mystery wrasse and a mimic tang. Tank size is 260gallons with 350+ water volume. I am not a beginner here but not an expert either, still learning about compatibility with angels. Any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks

are you thinking large angel or dwarf?

Although, I do not know your exact tank measurements (profile states 260g, 55g & 75g)...I think it's safe to say your ACTUAL water volume is more in the 250g range.

WELL....I have 10 angels in my tank...I would suggest Genicanthus...Bellus, Zebra, Lamarck...

Based on those dimensions, your DT with 'average' amount of live rock, probably has ~190g of water, and since your sump/refug, are probably NOT filled to the top, they hold ~70g total...so about 250g+ for the system.

Agreed! Looks lively in there. Thinking about a smaller angel, I think I am topped out with large fish. Looking for a type that will not do much hiding, thought about a flame angel but seems a bit common

Not if it's a true Hawaii flame like this one

I think a blineline angel maxing out at 8-9" would be nice.

Showoff!!!

Nice pickup Kevin, always holding true to your screen name. I am itching to add some angels to my reef, but I don't know if my SPS would be happy about that.....

Haha. I waited since January to find a pair and I am very happy with the pair.

Zoa is definitely a meal and I'd some nice colorful ones. Which angel are you looking at? The venustus on DD last night was really nice.

That Venustus was gorgeous, but it went within a minute of it being added to the site. I have been saving for a Joculator pair. I am waiting for Ocean Gallery in Nj to get some in. My usual source can't seem to find any at a decent price.
