kelp for feeding

Living on the west-coast of Norway I have the opportunety to collect fresh kelp on my way home from work..

So I am wondering.. Can feeding my fish with this kelp be beneficial ?

does anyone have any experience on wich type of kelp that can be used..?

You can collect fresh plankton from the sea.
With an old stocking and wire hunger, you can make a plankton net.
When I put those plankton in the tank, all my fishes became crazy to catch and eat!
( I even bought those plankton by mail order, because I'm not living close to sea right now.)
I put some seaweeds too, but fishes had no interest at all.
Only some shells nibbled it.
Try plankton!
