Kenya tree need help :(

I have a Fluval evo 13.5 with AI prime hd light. All is stable (8 monthes old) I have some easy corals. I buy a kenya tree 1 month ago. It was beautiful till I change my return pump for a Sicce 1.0. I have a Hydor 240 too. After 2 weeks, it s look like that.... Too much flow? I drop it in the bottom of the tank to reduce the flow but it's still look bad after 3 hours... Any way to save it?

Assuming your parameters are within reason and the lighting is sufficient just be patient. Leather corals can be very temperamental sometimes. Just chalk it up as a bad mood right now.

Turning black, (Necrosis) a chalky consistency? (Melting)

FWIW this is one of the most durable corals out there. I wouldn't worry too much about it. GL.

As said above, I would not worry. Mine sometimes flops over on its side for a few days then picks itself up again. The local shop I got mine from has a massive one that he just cuts branches off of, and sometimes I'll go in and it'll be gorgeous and enormous, and other times its shrivelled up. They just have their moments.

Agreed with all of the above. These things are almost impossible to kill so yours should be just fine

Lol my toadstool had its moment a few days ago. It is usually a bit bigger than a softball but was shriveled to a 50 cent piece. My wife spotted it and said *** happened. I had to explain he was in shed mode and would be fine.

+1 On this, This stuff is pretty much bullet proof. One day you will question why you ever added it! :uzi:

Check your alkalinity: s/b 8.3. And if you are not running carbon, it might help to do that: softies spit chemicals into the water, and this is not the vast ocean.
