Kenya tree needs help

Im new to the game and this might be obvious to some but I have a Kenya tree that has seem to have a piece that ….. Fell off maybe is this how it grow or is there some thing wrong and what do I do with this lose peace

just get a rubber band and attach it to another rock

With Kenya trees you start with one tree and in a matter of months you have MANY trees. They drop little branches all the time so you have a constant supply of Kenya trees..... you can put the end of it into a crack or crevice of your rock with lowered flow for a day or so and it will attach to your rock....I have them on my glass, on shells, on rock etc etc...wherever they blow to with the current they attach and grow and...make more.

Yep, that's how they grow and spread around. I keep finding branches stuck to my powerhead intakes. One was stuck there for a few days. I moved it to my QT to see if it would recover and it did, despite having only one dim PC bulb over it. Very durable coral.
