recently I had someone give (free, how do you say no) me a purple kenya tree that was in excellent condition. Very beautiful specimen. I had no intention of adding the kenya, but like I mentioned above, it was free and I had room for it....which are two horrible reasons, I know.
Well, this morning I woke up and it was "slumped over" this morning. I don't have a camera and didn't think of snapping a shot of it with my phone, the camera works really well on my phone. I will try to be as descriptive as possible: Last night it was standing "at attention" with no hint of any problems. This morning it was slumped over about 1.5" from the "stalk/stem".
my param's perfect, but my temp did dip to 72 degrees last night due to a heater issue that has been resolved. I have a 10 gallon tank with a clown and some hermits in there. The only other coral is a leather cabbage, which is doing great. I think my lighting maybe an issue, I have 56-60 watts of PC right now.
Is this part of its acclimation process or do I have a dying coral on my hands? If its dying, is there anything I can do to save it?
