Kenya Tree Question

Hey everyone, Ive got a couple questions on my kenya tree frag. The kenya tree came off the frag over the weekend. I've tried to super glue it back to the frag but it just comes off again. Should I try to reattach with something else or will it attach itself to something when it wants.

Also, can kenya trees play chemical warfare? Ive got another coral in the tank that isnt looking as good the last couple days. Any thoughts are appreciated!!

i know with softies they attach when they want to and they just kinda slime the glue off and come loose. if you stick it in a small container with sum rubble rock or small crushed coral it will attach then you can glue it down where you want

Stick the kenya tree between two pieces of live rock, ( small pieces) and rubber band the rock together. After a couple weeks the leather should have attached to the rocks.

my kenya tree has closed and won't reopen its been closed for a day and a ngiht and i have no idea why, the polyps surrounding it are also closed

I have two in my 29gal down in the sand bed on some small pieces of liverock. They were first glued to some shells, then the shells were glued to the liverock later. They are very happy and open. They get low/moderate flow. Occasionally they'll squish up, always at night to rest. But then be out and open the next morning. I usually don't feed them.. just whatever they happen to catch in the flow. But occasionally I have sent a bit of coral food (frozen plankton) their way with a turkey baster. They seem to grab a bit. I haven't done that in a few weeks, and they are larger and more open than ever. When they were first in my tank though.. it took them a bit of time to settle in.

I picked up a tree bout 3 weeks ago and it opens up full during the day and shrivels at night like it should. I am just woried about about it not gitting the proper nutrition. I have a very new tank about 3 or so months old no special lighting cant afford lighting at the moment so I am going with low light softies at the moment.
so any ideas what I should be gitting for food for i or will it be ok?

mine has been closed for two days now and so have the surrounding polyps tho it seems they have opened a little a few times. Should I pronounce my kenya tree dead?

theres no flow going near it and the surrounding polyps won't open either, some open a tad bit. I tested my water today and my phosphate is a bit high so I'll get some stuff for that tomorrow. All my other corals seem to be doing good

I would bet its not dead. They sometimes close up for many days at a time. They are very difficult to kill so don't give up. I find until it starts disolving or turning black its not really dead. Most of mine love flow, so the flow issue depends the individual.
