Kenya Tree Question

I recently picked up a couple Kenya Tree frags, they are 3"-5" tall. I got them home and into my tank and they have since "slumped" over and are basically laying on rock. Is this normal? Will then eventually "stiffen" back up and look like a tree again or are they permanently damaged?

They will be fine. Give them a few days to acclimate to your tank. I regret putting a kenya tree in my tank. I have 'frags' all over my 75.

I bought a frag couple of weeks ago that was identified on here as kenya tree. When i put it my tank it did the same think was slumped over and didnt have is poyps extended. Now it is looking great. If you go to my thread titled "can i get an id please" you will see how it looks after a couple of weeks. Hope this helps.

I have so many kenya tree frags I can't even give them away!! btw mine slump over everytime I go from daylight mh to dusk/dawn lighting daily

When I first got mine (1 inch frag). I thought it wont make it and left it in the bottom of the tank in a hole in LR. It was slumped for 3-4 days and it recovered since. In the last month it has put 3 branches and is now about 3 inches tall. The recovery was amazing.
