Kenya tree shedding??

My Kenya has been doing great since I bought it and just recently it closed up not completely, but pretty small and there is spider web type material around it. Does this mean it's sheding? If so, what does this mean?

I forget the name of the invert that creates those spider webs...someone else will prolly chime in. Look around and see if you can find something eating the web looking thing. It could be enough to irratate the leather. I have heard of leathers shedding though...although I never saw it personally.

They shed occasionally when growing. It is a good indicator of health.

i have never seen any of my kenya trees shed. leathers shed but i don't think kenya's do. my guess is the snail that is shooting the web is irritaing it enough.

hey Sam, you say it's a snail shooting this web? I have a bunch of them in my 30 fuge and thier so small can't really get a good shape but they look clear to white in color. do you have a name for them?
