kenya tree vs hairy mushroom

i currently have a 13.3 evo tank with some kenya trees on a flat rock near the end of my tank. My husband just purchased a hairy mushroom, and I put it in between 2 kenya trees so there's not a lot of flow on it. Do I need to move it to the other side of the rock that is not covered by the kenya trees?

What is your concern? It's fine as is likely. Do you have a picture?

It should be fine. I would just watch it for possible recession (or not expanding fully) due to possible chemical warfare. Not sure if there’d be any between the two but you never know.
