hello, i was wondering which one of the kessils would be best for a standard 20 gallon. I think the dimensions are 24x13x17. I am getting tired of buying bulbs for my t5's. Right now I just have some favias and zoas. Also any diy ideas for hanging the light? Thanks everyone.

I have a350w & a150w on both of my biocube 29 tank and happy with it
a350w you can control the color channel to your needed

the reason I wasn't considering the 360w is I'm not going to put a controller on this tank. I was just going to use a standard timer.

A350 would work fine. Had two over a 48" tank but had to hang them a little higher. A350w would cover a little closer to the water. I have never used the 150's to know anything about them.

Another vote for A150w Ocean Blue... If you can find a pair used I would do two. I set up two on my brothers biocube and it has worked out great for him.

I was trying to avoid buying two 150's. What kind of corals is he keeping in his cube? Did he mix the colors of the 150's?

Think there would be a lot of spillage with the a350? Its a narrower beam isn't it? I was thinking I could just turn down the power and hang a little lower.

Well your tank is not very deep nor wide. I meant the w's. Avoid the Narrows, they're meant for deeper tanks. I agree with the other poster 2 a150w ocean blue 15k will suffice. You can get a used a150w for around $100-$150. I run 5
A360we on my 300g and sits 14 inches above the water line and its plenty of light.

Sorry I missed you post earlier on. He did mix the colors although not on purpose it worked out well. He has an Ocean Blue and a Sky Blue. He is growing pretty much everything in his tank SPS LPS softies.

I personally would also consider something more full spectrum like the new Radion 15. Or you can contact Jesse from Diablo Corals He was selling brand new 350 Kessils (I Believe it was the 350's) at a Great price if he has any more.
