Kessil A360WE

I know this is the new upgraded unit but I am having trouble finding any info on it really. All i can find is it is brighter. I am upgrading to a 24" cube and wondering if it would be good enough for sps? The answer to that with the old A360W was iffy. Otherwise im planning on going radion or maybe even a chinese LED.

I have seen an amazing mostly SPS tank with Kessils. When I walked into this reefers living rm, I was sure the were MH's behind his wall. I was shocked to find out they were LED's.


Here is the issue though. He had originally only used 2x A360W & discovered corals were not growing fast enough & not such great coloration. He then added 3x A360WE to the system, so a total of 5 Kessils. He was a dealer of those fixtures & could afford it. There is no way in hell I would pay that much for LED's.


I did a Chinese LED thread & my smaller tank is doing great with them. But I have sand & a minimalistic aquascape, thus reflecting the light back in the tank for a brighter appearance & more opportunity for corals to capture the light.

I am using two Kessil 360WE on my shallow reef tank and my corals are flourishing.

Very happy with these lights.
