Kessil A80

Hey everyone,

I'm thinking about adding two Kessil A80 pucks to the blank spots of a giesemann spectra fixture. I'm not trying to get PAR out of these things or really even notice them with MH and T5 on (probably would have them off during that time). Just thinking about using them as dusk/dawn for when I want those crazy disco colors.

This fixture is over a 30x30x24 cube and I think the real advantage of this idea is how low profile it would be. Doesn't seem like it would rob the giesemann of its beauty.

Just curious if anyone has any thoughts.

Well it does come with canopy mounts that you just bolt on so all you need is some metal screws to attach it to the metal plates next to the halide while still remain pretty low profile.

That's what I'm thinking.

I've thought about reefbrites but to be honest I'm a little turned off by the lack of LED variety in the actinic strip...

I'm thinking about these as well for the same thing. I run two 250w halide pendants over an open top, and I haven't come up with a good way to add a dawn/dusk that doesn't look terrible. These things are tiny, and would be super easy to use with the mini goosenecks. Anyone tried one yet?
