Kessil AP 700 Owners Gather Here!

I just tried to push the power button on the AP700 and then turn it back on, after doing that I went back into my Ipad App and my program was gone..... It was back to how the app looked when brand new. I had to reconnect the wifi again and when I did my program I created (which never worked) was still gone. In fact all of the preset templates were gone.

Do the programs save when you exit? Does the light work in manual? Are you able to back up on the cloud?

They do save, except for the time it disappeared. It works perfectly fine in manual. I don't know how to use cloud.

Now the blue wifi light is blinking as before I powered it down and reset the wifi it was solid.

UPDATE- I just checked the App for the first time this morning and the programs are gone again. The program I created and the templates. This is ridiculous, I will call Kessil tomorrow. I'm going to try deleting and reinstalling the app now.

This is strange, haven't heard of this problem. What device are you using? What's the app version?

I deleted the app and reinstalled it. So far so good, aside from the timing being off by about 8-minutes.

Do you have an iPhone? If yes, use it to connect. I had an issue with my iPad but it worked perfectly on my iPhone.

Does anyone have an issue with the color being one program point ahead of where it should be? I contacted kessil and havnt heard back yet.

I did once at the tail end of my program. I put a program point at the end for the color I wanted. I think they were adjusting to blue because my next program point was in the morning after the moon lights. I concluded that the light would continue to adjust to the program point in the morning even though there was a moon cycle in the middle of it. Understand?

Yes I think I understand. Mine comes on at 9 am and is supposed to be the bluest setting, but instead is the 2nd bluest setting (which is what it should be at 10 am) and it seems to continue this way every hour during my ramp up/down.

Have you check the program with the quick play back to see what it looks like?

Mine had the same issue when I first started using the android phone app. When I ran through the playback cycle it showed the right colors, but when I backed out and saved it reverted to the next whiter color.

Wish I knew the fix, because the next day it didnt do that.

Could be that there is a time conflict between the light/phone/actual times. It might be something simple like ensuring the time on the device is correct or reloading the lights. Kessil might know more. Try turning off and on the lights, saving the program after a slight change.

Do you mind elaborating? I'm not clear on what you mean.

So if you look at the graph, at 9 am, the intensity is correct, but the color is what the color should be at 10 am etc etc for each hour subsequent. I hope this clears up that.

After pulling my hair for about a month trying to decide on a light, I filly pulled the trigger on an ap700! I hope a single fixture is enough for my Red Sea reefer 350

Have you contacted Kessil? If not I suggest you do.

My moon lights do cycle.
So official word from Franco...aka Kessil...is that the change in moonlight phases is to subtle to be noticed by the human eye...and that they are considering making it more noticeable.

Which is interesting he say that because when selecting which phase to start on...I can notice the difference. When I select save, regardless of what phase I choose, it dims way down. Which I'm fine with. I don't think the moonlight should be all that bright. It just seems not right that it immediately dims as soon as I select save.

So basically you do not feel it starts in the phase that you select? Correct?
