I have 6 T5's and 2 kessil 360we I have them at max 60% Color and 50 % intenstiy and did the 7 day acclimation to the lights.

My kessil schedule is
9:30 5% Color 10% intensity
12:30 20% Color 30% intensity
3:30 60% color 50% intensity
8:00 40% color 30% intensity
10:30 is 15% Color 25% intensity
11:30 0% color 0% intensity

4 T5's come on at 11 am to 9 pm
2 T5's come on at 12 am to 6 pm

14 hour sunrise to sunset simulation

my old light schedule 8 t5's and 24" xho reefbrite were

4 from 10:30 am to 10:30 pm
4 from 12 am to 6 pm
24" XHO 9:30 am to 11:30 pm

if I'm reading this correct u have 6 t5 bulbs and the kessil. U added the kessil and only removed the LED strip and 2 t5 bulbs. U have a lot more light now. I would run the t5 as close to old schedual as possible. I would start with lowest possible intensity and the kessil. Run the full cycle u want to finish up with.... But the corals will tell u what they can handle. Run the full color spectrum but at 5%. Bump up intensity 5% every 7 days.

Technically I went from 180 watts (54+54+72) to 180 watts (90+90). So what your saying is basically keep it at the color spectrum I have now up to 60% but start the intensity at 5% and every week bump up 5% up to about 50% is that what I am reading.

Yes pretty much. U may have to stop before 50% watch the corals. U have enough light with t5 to keep the sps alive.

Going from no Kessil's to 50% intensity in a week is the issue. You need to take it super slow with the Kessil's. Try 15% intensity for awhile and then go about 5% higher each week if everything responds positively.

You also have to realize that the UV in these lights is also tied into intensity. 50% intensity equals 50% UV=sunburned corals.

There is a lot of UV in kessils. You have to go slow but I love how it brings out the greens in some corals over time.

Well I had it to 60% color and 20% intensity at it peak and corals are still whiting and seems to be getting worse.

My kessil schedule Was
9:30 5% Color 5% intensity
12:30 20% Color 10% intensity
3:30 60% color 20% intensity
8:00 40% color 10% intensity
10:30 is 15% Color 5% intensity
11:30 0% color 0% intensity

I dropped my color to 40% read somewhere that even the color can be to bright with those. Checked my levels today

9:30 5% Color 5% intensity
12:30 20% Color 10% intensity
3:30 40% color 20% intensity
8:00 30% color 10% intensity
10:30 is 15% Color 5% intensity
11:30 0% color 0% intensity

I know those are bad pictures but its getting worse not better not sure what to do.

Of all the corals my Pectina is taking it the worse, which 2 weekends ago seemed like my RED BTA was on top of it or something happened when I was gone for the weekend.

I think I Will do that tomorrow.

Doesn't look like bleaching to me, looks like tissue necrosis to an extent.
yeah not sure what it is but is started about 2 weeks after the 360we were installed. Also it not all my acro and sps say about half of them are bleaching.

Alk:9 to 10<<<< To me its too high....Having a clean system like you do your Alk needs to be around 8....Thats were I keep mine...Just my thoughts.

That's how it begins.

LOL okay if its necrosis how do I stop it? What do I do I am noticing little white on some other stuff also some of my T5 are hitting there 10 month mark I replaced both of my blue+ last week but my purple+ and lagoon blue are both 10 months old. Figure I should do a large water change maybe?

You can try to remove the affected corals and dip, then QT and monitor, but mainly you can't really stop it.. you can try and frag what's left that's been unaffected but usually it just ends up killing everything. This is what we call a 'crash', and if what you say is true and its spreading its only a matter of time. Check out bigz's post about his crash. Killed all of his sps, every single piece..
