Kessil's and SPS

Hey all,
I am new to Kessil's. Scored 2 with gooseneck and control module. I have them about 10 inches from water line on 40 breeder. Trying to get SPS going. About 4 months with the lights and cant seem to get polyp extension or even color. Parameters good, nitrates down to 5. CA 460, ALK 11, MAG 1320. 10 hour schedule with max color at 40%, max intensity 75%.
Am I missing something?

I used to run kessils too and could never keep sps frags alive.
All my soft corals and lps thrived but sps never survived.

the 360's are where its at if you are trying to grow SPS, I think the 160 is more for a spot light, or lower light corals.
