Keys to keeping LPS alive

Just like the subject says. I just want to cover all my bases on what I've been doing. What makes these bad boys thrive?

great water quality
reasonable lighting
varied, moderate flow
target feeding (IMO)
room to grow
lack of competition

basically i agree w/ previous post. the water quality does not have to be as good as sps but should still be real good.

I've had great growth feeding live rotifers and turning off the skimmer just at lights out then firing the skimmer back up in the morning. IMO, a far easier method than target feeding but it had drawbacks($125.00/mo. in live rotis!).
