Kh swing

Hi guys
What’s considered a kh swing ?

If you do a water change and it goes from 10-9 , if you dose in a shot 9-10 ?

example of my tank , My kh mostly site at 8 and I’ll check it in a few days and it’ll be 7.3 so I drip buffer in over 6 hours back to 8 and up the dose in the ato , I’m still fine tuning it but for me this isn’t a kh swing??

Technically it’s a swing but not one that will likely affect anything.

To me, a swing would be more significant, like 2-3 difference (though still not a huge affect on coral generally).

Much beyond that, I’d switch the term to a KH spike.
