Kick Ich??

Hi all,

I cant remember what the general consensus is on the product Kick Ich.

Many will want to yell at me for doing this considering my tank is only 72 gallons and I already have a naso tang...I bought a powder blue tang for the first time ever two weeks ago (he looked great and pretty small). He caught some ich several days after getting him. He is a GREAT eater, so I think he can do well if I get rid of the ich. My peppermint cleaner shrimp is helping but not getting 100% of them.

QUESTIONS:

1) Has anyone had positive or negative experiences with Kick Ich considering also I have sps, lps, shrooms, and zoos?

2) I REALLY dont want to turn off my skimmer for fear of water quality dropping and further stressing the powder blue, so did anyone have good results while still running a skimmer?

The reason they tell you to turn it off is because the chemical will make the skimmer freak out and overflow, which also may cause the chemical to get skimmed out. So running the skimmer with the med isnt an option. Your best bet is to get $50 together and go buy a 10-20g tank, a small heater, and a small powerhead. Put the fish in there and medicate. (optionally, you can return all the equipment when youre done)

my pbt had ich bad but i soaked his food in garlic and within a few days it was gone (not on my fish) but a naso and a pbt is crazy in a 72. i have a 135 and would not get a naso but when i get my 210 its the first and only fish im gonna add.

My skimmer functions normally after adding this product
