Kidninja's 12 Gallon JBJ Nano Cube DX

the video is working............really nice nano very impressive, keep up good work.

thanks!!!

Another beautiful video...Keep in mind I am very green at this stage, what and when do you feed your inhabitants?

i feed my tank pellets every other day, i try to target feed so that i know the food is being eaten and not just floating around in the tank. turkey baster works best

Looks Great So what all has been modified at this point? Did you keep the 900 or go to a 1200?
Also what korila is that?

im still sticking with the 900. hydor-flo does a great job, and it is a koralia-nano

How easy is it to replace the stock pump on the nano cube?

it is very very easy, the stock pump is in the bottom of the chamber. just disconnect the elbow tube and pull the pump out of the water. replace the pump w/ whatever pump you want (hopefully it will fit in the back chamber) and then put back on the elbow tube that was connected to the original pump. its really easy, no modding, cutting etc etc

If I wanted similar coral to what you have could I just add in another power head such as the Oceanic pump similar to the one on the left side of your tank?

yea that would be perfectly fine, it just the placement of my corals is that i need a wide spread of water movement to hit the corals

I know earlier you stated you do not have a protein skimmer but have thought about adding one. Do you know of any that would fit in the back of the 12gal Nano Cube?

I have one on my brothers Nano we put the BIOCube Nano one on there just uses a air pump. Does OK I guess. So people put the Aqua C on theres Guess it depends what size nano you got.

Thanks. I just ordered live rock foe my Nano. I have no living thngs in the tank at this point. Should I just place the rock directly into my tank to start the cycling process?

When you replaced the duck bill return with the Hydor-FLO did you have to glue the Hydor- FLO on or did it go on without having to glue?

one of the adapters that comes with the hydor-flo fits perfectly, very snug

Your Gorgonian coral in the front left of your tank. How is he secured? Right into the sand?

its actually attached to a piece of rock in the sand, it has now also attached to the rock behind it
