Kidninja's 12 Gallon JBJ Nano Cube DX

Hey I was just wondering what your lighting schedule is? I'm downgrading and moving my maxspect over to a BC, same one the 110w, but I feel like I have it on too long right now.

Kidninja,

What do you use to attach your coral to the rock? Do you do in underwater or pull the rock out of the tank and attach the coral? This is probably my favorite JBJ Nano 12g I have seen. I am 3 weeks into a cycle right now on mine and can't wait to start putting some stuff in.

Wow what an awesome tank. I'm new to the forums so I'm checking them out before I buy. I've been looking at getting either a 12g Nano-Cube or maybe a 24g. After looking at your 12g I think I might just go with that. It looks so good! Any advice for a newbie?

great looking tank. Just looked through all 14 pages.

I just bought the same tank and I'm new to everything. So I am trying to learn as I go.

Hopefully one day mine will look just as nice as yours

thanks for all the comments! i actually had 4 tanks running at one time before and that got hard to maintain so i broke down all the tanks and put everything into a 75g tank (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2131154) maybe i'll set up a small AIO tank again somewhere else... LoL but yea any questions, feel free to PM me

Key to this hobby - KEEP IT SIMPLE! and stop touching your tank haha

Awesome tank man. Couple of questions for you.

1. How do you deal w/ the heat form the PCs
2. Why keep the 3 compartment in back empty?

It's made to stack three sponges in C1 for wet to dry, this increases oxygenation and stabilizes pH as well as provides a good area for N & D-N bacteria to colonize. Second up-flow C is for whatever pleases you from Ceramic disc to carbon to any bagged media for good water contact surface area. C3 is for return pump and a heater will fit nicely in compartment as well.

Here's a pic of my All Zoa Garden in my stock JBJ 12G DX LED w/ ceramic disc, carbon, Purigen and Phosguard running in the 2C. This tank has been up and running for 6 months and is one of 7 JBJ BC tanks I currently have running between home and office.

Bio-Load = 1 mating pair of Pink Skunk Clowns (Feed Heavy), 1 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp, and 12 Red -Legged Crabs. (Crabs removed when they lay eggs)

Params = 78.5 F, 1.025 SG, Amm and Nitrites = 0.0, Nitrates ~5 ppm, PO4 < 0.04
