kill live rock

I have a little bit of live rock not being used could i kill it and use it as a ornimant in my tropical tank. Not even sure if its anygood not been in a tank for awhile

If the rock hasntbeen used and is dried out, sure, you can use it in a FW setup.

it was in a set up its in a bucket of salt water water at the mo for aleast a week should i just dry it out for a week or so

You could dry it out, or lt it sit in FW for a dat or so, all the life on it will die from the FW.

Ok just pourd the water out and there looks like a snail thing on there with a big pointy shell whats that

Thats the 'grim reaper' snail..... If you kill it, it will get you in your sleep!!

When I turn live rock to base rock. I like to leave the rock in the sun for like 2 weeks to kill and bleach it.
