killer PBT and pyramid butterfly

Just added 4 new fish to my 300G reef, one of which was a pyramid butterfly. To my suprise, my PBT(known fish killer) took an immediate dislike to him and took two large bits out of his fins. I immediately placed mirrors along the front of the tank per someones suggestion on this forum which has decreased the attacks to moderate intimidation. Today, after two days I remove the mirrors to clean the glass and the PBT immediately took another hunk out of the butterfly. The butterfly is eating well but just stays in front of the mirror, probably because it's a schooling fish and likes the company. Removing either fish will not be easy. Any suggestions?

PBT's can be really aggresive towards tangs or other fish. My PBT, a small one, feels that he has to pick on every fish that enters the tank, except wrasses and angels much larger than him, for about 2-3 days. After that he never bothers them again. How much and how often do you feed? I seem to have less aggression when they have plenty to eat.
