Recently i have lost 3 fish two newly add wrasses lasted 5 days and 3 days. then to day i lost a coral beauty which i have had for a year it would some times fight with the large female clown (3+ in ) could she be a killer. on the coral beauty and one of the wrasses i could see what looked like blood under the skin. the tank is a 60g which was recently upgrated from a 26g. the female also tries to bite me if i put my hand in the tank. i have an option of moving them in to a 10 gallon and moving a pair of Occe. into the 60g two other fish in the 60 are doing great a lawnmower blenny and a mandarin so now mantis or pistol shrimp right?

Yes water conditions are good SG 1.026, Temp 77, Ph 8.2, Alk 9.0,
Ammonia .01, nitrite .02, nitate 10ppm, Ca 480

Brian,

Watch your NH3 and NO2!! That coupled with the nasty clown could have done them in!!!

PS. getting ready for growing season now that the rain has subsided?? Almost cost me the harvest again this year.

i know time for a water change tonight
should i move them to 10 gallon and put the ocellaris in the 60
Brian

ps. looks like harvest is going to be late and small(hopefully) we have tons of wine in tank from 05 were still bottling or 01 S.H. cab tons of 02 and 04 still to go not to mention the 05

I can't imagine putting 2 aduly tomatoes in a 10g. They'd foul the water sooooooo fast. Also, they simply wouldn't have enough room.

PS. looks like this year may be the end of the curse of plenty we've had since 00. You go to Davis Brian? Class of '94 here.

Go DOGS!!!!!!

In case the summers in Davis weren't miserable enough!

I'll stop hijacking the thread now, I promise.

I would not suggest moving them into a 10 gallon, thats too small for them.. Try moving some rocks and stuff around in your tank, that will keep them from becoming tetorial (sp) once clowns have there space they dont allow anyothers in it.. Let us know how you make out with this..

I hear so many post about bad tomatos the pair I have are complete wuss"s they hide from their own shadow except at feeding time when they bite the end off of the feeding pipette
