kinda want a cone!!!

have been looking at cone skimmers just seeing if anyone has had one or is using one? they all seem to be about the same price so just wondering what ones to look at i hear itech is pretty good anyone know?

Are you looking into a new skimmer b/c your old one doesnt perform well enough? I just am looking at octo right now for my 180 and was curious about your thoughts.

well the guy i got it from ran it on a 210 and his tank was mostly sps and it looked really good, it was a 210 with a 75 sump. I have not set it up yet but i was going to use it on a 90 to see how it works for me! but let me know if you are going to get one cause they got a deal on them on bulk reef supply if you get 2 or more they are like $40 cheaper cause i want to get a octo extream 300!

I am prob looking at the 250, but mines way cheaper at aquacave. I got a budy looking to get a pair of vortechs, and with our two skimmers i know we can get atleast 10% off the total price maybe more.

i just finished making a "cone" shaped skimmer. uv vodka bottle shaped to be exact haha ill let you know how it works

its basically like all the DIY bottle skimmers for nanos just in a bigger bottle ( rinsed very well ) is there any problems from doing this that i am not aware of?
