King or Queen clown fish in 4 seconds

I added a new clarkii to my tank, and 1 minute after the release he found my other clarkii and they both bit each other at the same time on the finn and shook like a dog with a chew toy. it only lasted 4 seconds or less now my original clarkii wont go near him or even come out to be seen.

Has the newcomer became king or Queen ? also their are 3 rose anemones for them to share.

Should i keep an eye out to make shure he or she dose not kill the other?

Are they the same size? you could have 2 females which will not work.

If you do have two females, one will ultimately kill the other...so you may want to get one out and get a juvi clarkii that way you know you have a male

Well my question is both are only 1.5 to 2.0 inches. how early in life can they make the change to female?

You should remove one of the clowns while their both still alive. Clarkii's can be very hard to pair up.

At the moment they are sleeping in the same anemone, i am not trying to pair them up, just wanted two of the same. Also right at the moment i am also setting up another tank if things dont work out.

Sad to say the place i get the fish from i cant return them or trade them in so i own him.

Yes i know you cant stop nature, but i am not trying to help them along.
But if they do pair up, if and when they lay eggs, i dont want to raise the fry so do i just leave them in the tank for crabs and shrimp to eat or would i still have to remove them.

if you dont want any fry, then just leave them be. they will get eaten eventually or not hatch at all.

Thanks, Also a update, both clarkii's are out swimming and no probs so far.
i am starting to think one may be wild and the other is tank raised, but their happy now.
