Kole Tang and Saddleback

Last year I added a 3 inch Kole Tang and at the same time I added a 4 inch saddleback clown. Now the Kole Tang is about 5 inches and the saddleback hasn't grown much lengthwise but has really thickened up. There was always some aggression between the two but these last couple months its been pretty bad. The Kole constantly harasses the clown and is always nipping and chasing him even taking some bites out of him when he doesn't move fast enough. I liked the tang before he started to be incredibly aggressive to all of my fish but especially the clown. I have tried putting him in a strainer and rearranging the rock work but he still chases all of the fish to the point where their scared to come out. I have someone who wants to take him but he is what has been keeping my algae in check. Should I get rid of him? and if so how do I catch him without taking all of my rock out? Is there anything I can do to make him calm down? He is in a 75 gallon tank and he refuses to eat nori but eats algae flakes and the algae in the tank as well as brine shrimp.

might be the size tank if nothing else is helping... Either you make the saddlebacks life miserable keeping them together, or you choose one.. Try a yellow tang, they will keep your algae in check and might be more peaceful. Ours is a docile guy.

I've heard that they can be real monsters when they get large and established... Would a yellow tang work in a 75g tank? I would think thats too small for any tang if it's too small for a bristletooth... what other fish besides tangs eat algae and are peaceful?

Good question.... for our yellow tang, he would likely be just fine in a 75 just because he's lazy and doesn't do much swimming laterally. We at one point had a hippo and powder blue which took up every inch of lateral room in this tank...
