Kole Tang Feeding

So I have had a Kole tang for a couple months now. He does not eat any sheet algae or Nori that I put in the tank. Nor does he really care for prepared fish food. When he was at the LFS he would eat the mysis, but at home he does not even get tempted.

Anyway, I started Zeo a few day ago and already the biofilm on my glass is less than it use to be (In general a good thing). What I am worried about is that over time, this will be come less and less, and eventually not be enough for the Kole to feed. Do you guys have anything or any technique that you use to feed your Kole or similar family member tang?

Mine wouldn't eat for the first few days I had him and I dipped all the food I put in the tank in garlic. You could give that a try.

OT: what does it mean when you dip food in garlic? Do you mince a few garlic gloves and roll the food in it or do you soak it in hot water with the garlic? search button is down and i really wanna know!

as for feeding the kole...i bet if you leave nori out he will begin eating it.

I have tried leaving them in there for a couple hours, and he did not seem to care. Maybe I should try a little longer.

I do include garlic in my normal food mixture, he does not seem interested. Maybe I could try dipping the nori in garlic.

Put small pieces of Nori in on a clip daily. Eventually your tang will get the idea. My Kole took forever to start eating Nori, now he eats like a pig.

Thanks guys I will keep the clip in the tank for an extended period of time. Keep in mind my Kole does seem to graze all day, so I am not really worried about his currently health, more for the future when there may be less micro algae for him to feed on.
