Kole Tang Growth or Parasite

So I got my new juvenile kole tang into QT. He is grazing and eating prepared foods right off the bat...As is always the case I am seeing what I did not see in the LFS. He has two round things on his fins. They look like oblong zits... I will try to get a better pic but it is hard. The one on his dorsal has been there for a while because the fin has grown around it and so does the patterns in his scales...

My QT system is actually my frag system so I am not concerned about the typical stresses associated with a typical QT system. So I cam watch him like a hawk or transfer him to a QT tank if I need to medicate him.

These look more like some sort of growth or scaring rather than a parasite. I will post better pics as I get them...

Looks like scar tissue to me. My foxface has a similar nodule on one of his spines. I had concerns about it when I first got him, but it has persisted so I don't worry about it.

Well it seems to have turned white in my system... I don't think its a parasite. Looks like a growth, scar or scab now...

Looks like lympho to me, a generally harmless viral infection. It should clear up with minimal stress, balanced diet, and good water quality.

Lympho or possibly an isopod.

What "typical stresses are in a typical QT? There is nothing stressful about a proper QT, probably the least stressful setting I can imagine. .

no change on the top one but the back one in more pronounced...
