so the new kole tang has been acclimating quite well--he was very shy the first day, and had been coming out more and more each day. he even seems to be getting along very well with the female gsm clown.
three days ago it looked like he had a mark on his back...today i can see its developed into a 1/4" diameter sore.
he's eating prepared foods and i can see him eating algae/gunk from rocks, glass and off macro algaes (i dont think he's actually eating the macro, i think he's stripping stuff off it). he swims well, reacts to the presence of people and the actions of the other fish.
i've tried to get a good look at him to see if he has any other sores or injuries, but i cant...if i get too close to the tank he zooms behind the rocks.
assuming this is the only mark so far (although i think he's hit a few rocks on his 'zooms'!), what might it be, and what can i do to help?
