Does anyone use Brightwells KoralColor?? How well does it work? Are you using the Basic instructions or the Recommended? I picked some of this up in hopes to boost some of my sps colors that I have not been able to bring out.

I think it works like KZ ZeoSpur2, causing the SPS to expel its zooxanthellae, even though Brightwell mentioned it doesn't contain heavy metal?

will the improved coloration be dependant on it like zeo? Keep us posted on any improvements upon adding this supplement. Maybe i can use some for a few of my stubborn corals

Using the recommended dosage of 1 drop per 5 gallons per day. I think it has made a purple acro more purple, but I can't be certain. Been dosing for a month now.

Also, I believe that it made the brown parts of said purple acro more brown, therefore it helps zoox in a way maybe?

Or it might have done nothing, and the color changes were from other factors. Not entirely sure.

i've just about gone through a bottle and haven't noticed any kind of color increase. I won't be buying another bottle. It was free from me LFS, he wanted me to give it a shot.

Drops that make corals one color or another...I have a bridge that I have to let go cheap if you are interested.

^ Yeah I know. It was recommended to me by my LFS very trusted LFS about 4 times in the past. I have worked with many of them in the past and know them all very well. So I know they are not just trying to sell me crap. A few of them use it on their tanks and said it does help, do I will see. At under $5 for a bottle it does not hurt to try. And the AA's they recommended to me over a year ago really work and I still use it.

I have seen so difference in a few sps since I started this stuff. It dose work to bring out color, if you want a pink birds nest to go almost brown or a purple cap go green then it works. I find that the only color this helps bring out is greens. I have cut the dose back by half and may stop all together.

I believe it is very similar to ZeoSpur and, like ZeoSpur, will result in a lighten-ing of SPS if used in a ULNS. When I was running Brightwell's NeoZeo, and later Zeovit, I had to stop using KoralColor because my sps started to look bleached. I stopped using it and the colors all came back.
So just keep an eye on the colors. But not preferring the pale colors of ZeoSpur systems, I stopped using it.

KoralColor?

KoralColor?

HI FellowReefers ; I also tried a bottle of it and did not see any color changes of any kind. I will not waste my moola on it! I have noticed a big improvement in polyp extension and color with 15-20% weekly water changes with Fresh Natural Seawater. Happy Reefing!!!
