koralia 1

just curious has anyone mod a koralia 1 for more flow maybe a different prop or something else.i would have went with a koralia 2 but look to dam big in my 40 gallon breeder.thanks

I tried the prop off of a K2 and it does not fit. The steel shaft is a different diameter and the magnet is a tad too big. I use 2 K1's and 2 via aqua pumps(nice and small) and with return from sump gives me around 1500-1600pgh. In the 40 breeder I have there are no dead spots.

i have 2 k1s in my tank and 2 nanos from my aquapod.flow seems pretty good.i also heard if ya go to a hobby shop and get a prop for a rc boat could work never tried it though or a echo prop dont know where to get that from or mabye try maxi jet mod props
