Koralia at Sailfin

The MJ12 doesn't push more water than the K1, it just focuses the stream making it appear to be more powerful. The K1 has a very wide spread flow pattern, which I find better than a focused stream that bleeds away very fast.

That's strange, I'm experiencing the opposite effect. I Moved the Koralia around last night to test its flow pattern a little more closely. The Koralia 1 is now 6" away from an SPS colony and the polyps on it are barely moving. I blew bubbles into the Koralia 1 and the bubbles travel barely past the coral before rising to the top. When I blow bubbles into the MJ12 they travel all the way across the 4' tank, and corals are waving 4' away from the MJ12. Maybe there is something wrong with my Koralia.

I knew it wasn't going to move a ton of water when I bought it, I just thought it would be more than this. I'm sure I would have been totally satisfied with a 3 or 4. I've seen those at work on a 120 and I was satisfied. I love the idea of a spread out current and a non-forceful current, and I love the power consumption rate. I'm just not too impressed with my 1. For 3.5W though ... I'd say it does pretty good.

Hey now, that is not good info. I have a 1 in my 30 and it is doing a great job. I have a MJ12 in there too but the Karolia beats it in flow. My tank has lots a flow.

MJ suck you need to see what real flow looks like

I know this, that is why I said what I said :) I have seen real flow, I have seen your tank and others with real flow, like gluestick's tank. She has some major flow.
