koralia evo on apex

i just ordered my apex from marine depot and need to know if TRIAC outlets will work with koralia evolutions. i have a 750 at 4.5 watts and a 1050 at 5 watts. will a 1400 at 6 watts work?

I tried 1050s on the triac outlets and they don't turn off reliably. They seemed to turn off eventually but I was trying a 15 sec oscillation. Sometimes they would turn off a second before turning on again. I switched my programming to a relay outlet and it worked perfectly. The clicking of the relays was too annoying though and gave up.

thats what i thought :sad1:
does any one know if 1400 work?
what is the minimum draw needed for the outlets to work properly?

There's no exact number. 4 - 5 watts seems to be the cutoff. With 6 you might be OK but you would have to test it to be sure.

I have two 750s and one 1400 on one outlet and they work no problem. No oscillation, just a pushbotton to turn them off during feeding time.

I bought a couple of Evo 1400s and tried them on the triac outlets. One outlet seems to be able to turn the Evo off. The other outlet is intermittent. Seems to work half the time.
