Has anyone else had an issue with an internal magnet mount disintegrating?
I have been using the Hydor pumps for a number of years without much issue other than replacing them every 2 years.
I have a magnum (I think it is a 3250) that must have hit the 3 year mark without notice. Then it started falling off the side of the tank. After a lot frustration, I finally removed it from the tank to find that underneath the internal suction cup was swelled from the center causing it to fall. I removed the suction cup to find the metal had swelled and disintegrated into powder that only magnetism was holding together.
