Koralias are here!!!!

I thought it was Italy. I've noticed that some aquarium stuff is still made over there vs. the Far East. Maybe they have women like Claudia Cardinale assembling the Koralias. Ah, the assembly-line workers probably look more like Mario and Luigi. How does the flow compare to a unmodded Maxi-Jet 1200 or a Stream 6060?

Way more flow than the MJ and way less flow than the Tunze. I don't have 6060 but I have 6000 model. The 6000 is about 250GPH more than the 6060.

No I don't think the flow is fine. It's not enough :D
I have 2x620 SEIOs, Koralia and 800-900GPH return pump w/ Oceansmotion SS.
I'm waiting for 2x6045 Tunze nanostreams. :)

wow!
how much flow do you need in your tank :) is it an sps dominated tank ?
i have one moded mj600 plus am eheim1262 and already i think the flow is a bit too much :) but i dont have any sps. well other than the orange monti which is doing great.

I have zoa, green clove and a brain coral on the sandbed.

6045 is 1189GPH each. I'm getting 2. With the return, I hope that would be enough. If not I will get one more :D ..

umm well, you might wanna keep the flow a bit down if you want to have any LPS. or else you can go all sps tank:) y frogspawn would get ripped to shreds in that kind of flow:)

thats what I was thinking myself, thats why I sold them. 3#1s will only be 500gph less than the 2 #3s. I'd rather go for the more moderate flow

yeah i am thinking about 2 #1 for my tank. i would have done 1 #2 but having two of the pumps would help in changing the direction of the flow over the course of the day. maybe have them switch on and off every half and hour or maybe 1 hour.

I have two Tunze 6000 in a 100G tank with nothing but softy. I don't have any problem. As long as they are indirect flow, you shouldn't have any problem.

What do you think of the flow compared to the Seios? I think that would be the fairest comparison since they are in the same price range.

Elite,
When you get the nano streams can you give a comparison review of the hydor and the tunze nano for me? :)

In my sps dominated 70g cube I am running 2 x 6000 tunze on the controller and 1 6025 nanostream (I'm waiting to get my 2nd 6025 nano back from Roger after he fixes it) I am considering swapping the 2x 6000 tunze streams for 2 of the 6055 nanostreams on the controller, save some space in the display...they are so much smaller than the tunze streams and I wont really lose all that much flow if I set the controller a bit higher than it is now for the streams. I am also interested in one of the Hydors for bottom flow if I was to swap out my Tunzes for the nanos...so I am most interested to see what you have to say when you have both in your tank.
