I am thinking in upgrade the flow of my tank. I have a 55G.A LFS guy recommend to buy a resun wavemaker but i'm reading also about koralia. Any recommendation? If is koralia which size?

Whooper,
I'm new to this and I'm trying to decide on a powerhead as well. Everyone's been leaning me towards Koralia. I'm no expert, but that's the feedback I've been getting.

from what I have read they are nice. For the price and the wattage you can't beat them. They are a little bulky but they have nice mounting brackets.I want to get the 4 model.I have seio, hagen,mj,and I also have the one that swivels(forget name power sweep)That thing broke in a month and it was crap.

The resun is of poor quality. At least from what I read. controller has wiring problems. The koralias on the other hand seem pretty succesful. I have a #4 and I love it. Works great. Wide flow. I've had no problems. The resun would be really awesome if they could build it a little better.

Koralias are nice, just got 8 #4s. They dont have a direct blast of water but a more spread out flow.

1 of the #4 on your 55 would probably be more than enough.
