I dont use this brand, but i have used aquamedic ones and built some of my own. They work very well to reduce nitrate and are fairly compact, i also use a redox probe and orp monitor and controller to make sure it is working at its optimum.
I have now disconected them as i suspect they were causing some cyano outbreaks, as the chamber fills with cyano too, and i am yet to try it on a dedicated larval tank to see what differences it makes.
