Ok-- It looks like my koran angel has MHLLE. It sounds like there are no cures, which is really sad knowing the loss of color. Does anyone know if this will change as the fish matures?

If you don't correct the underlying issues (diet and water quality primarily), the scarring will only get worse.

I got a koran whos whole face is gone from HLLE he got it when it was 2" and the person i got it from says it took him a while to get it to stop. he changed the diet and added grounding probe to the tank as he says stray current can contribute to it. the scarring didnt go away but he has the blue ring around the eyes but the rest of the face looks burnt off.

i named him scar face.

I just moved all my fish to my 150g, so I'm hoping the water quality will me a lot better
