Hi lately I have noticed my RBTA's have been kinda, for lack of a better word, smallish. I decided that I would feed them a freeze dried Krill each tonight, which they grabbed and folded on, which tells me they like it? Is Freeze dried krill good to feed RBTA's?? LMK, thanks

well now I just noticed they are both opened back up, so maybe they didnt eat the krill. I dunno

My RBTA's don't seem to like krill, so I just feed them raw table shrimp about every ten days or so. I bought scallops once to feed them, but they didn't make to the tanks....

Try a variety of seafoods. I have heard bad things about a constant diet of freeze dried krill. I always set aside a raw piece of any seafood that I cook for my Magnifica. Also they benefit from whole fish like silversides where they can get the nutrients from the organs, just make sure to feed small, easily digestible pieces.

I've fed my GBTA's and H. Crispa pretty much nothing but freeze dried kill for years without any issues. Probably wouldn't hurt to mix up something else. I'd personally avoid silversides myself as there's been more then one nem death after eating a possibly bad silverside.

Been feeding my RBTAs one cube of mysis each, once every 10 days, and they have been loving it. They usually open back up after a minute or two and the food is gone...I think they suck in a bit of water to draw the food into their mouth..?
